Step 1 - What Is Biomechanics?
Watch this video now, to understand the basics.
Biomechanics is the science of the body’s mechanics in which we study human movement.

We break this down into 3 basic sub-systems:
The muscles
The bones
The nerves
The Biomechanics Coach Diploma Consists Of...
3 x 2 Day Workshops
1 x Practical Assessment
12 Weeks Of Home Case Studies
THE 3 WORKSHOPS
Pelvis
Day 1 workshop 1- will give you some fantastic, unique evidence based screens to find out; why your clients are squatting the way they do, to see if they have a fully functioning pelvis and to assess whether they have muscle spasms which might be creating correctable scoliosis, plus so much more.

Not only this, but also a series of surprisingly simple muscle release techniques along with an incredibly logical strength training programme (Prepare-Perform) to help re-align those muscle ratios.
Spine
Day 2 workshop 1 - will give you skills to assess for lumbar spine muscle spasm and the source of immobility.

Learn about basic core screening & assessment, core training progressions, how to assess & correct core ratios and also aberrant gross lumbar movement, spinal hinges and cross pelvic syndromes. This module also includes the sciatic nerve screen and iMoveFreely® exercises.
Shoulder
Day 1 workshop 2 - shows you that, even without trying to ‘diagnose’ anything, you can assess & correct shoulder function of individual key muscles that directly influences posture using a simple, logical, tried and tested conditioning system (Prepare - Perform). If you've got/had clients with recurring shoulder issues, or rounded posture we will show you how you can mobilise the nerves in the arm for more power, increased muscle growth and muscle release which can change your client's orthotic prescription.
Knee & Foot
Day 2 workshop 2 -  will show you how to assess and correct both the knee and foot, looking deeper into how to reduce the chance of ACL ruptures and how to improve knee stability. We also look into how to rid clients of awful "runner's knee" and how the foot can be influenced and influence the rest of the body's movement patterns. This will all help you towards a better understanding of when a foot support maybe required.
Low Back Health (Pain)
This 2 day workshop offers fascinating insight into clinical conditions that can affect low back health, enables exercise professionals to work closer with clinicians by giving you an understanding behind the technical language used by the medical profession. This workshop increases your understanding of spinal anatomy and also gives you an insight into MRI scans & reports and how to read them. You'll also gain an introduction into the application of manual articulations of the spine.
